One place, filed by specialty, attending, and case type
A note is linked to the thing it is about: this attending, that case type, your specialty. It surfaces with the case in front of you instead of hiding under a title you typed at midnight three rotations ago.
Notes are formatted and searchable, and they hold checklists and photos. They sit behind Face ID or your fingerprint, encrypted on the phone, and ride in your own backup — end-to-end-encrypted iCloud on iPhone, an encrypted folder backup on Android.

A case list is a tag on your own cases. Your lists and the four your program asks about — Research, Case report, M&M, Teaching — live on the phone, and nobody else can read them.
Handing one flagged case to your program is built and is not switched on yet. It opens per program, once that program is running the Program Console and the lane is turned on for it.
When it opens, one tap sends four things: the flag, the date of the case, the procedure name, and a note if you write one. No patient detail, no attending, no room, and no link back to your log. You can withdraw it whenever you like.
