Case logging sucks.Ten seconds a case. Then you forget about it.
Capnolog was built by somebody who still has to log his cases every day. Log it while you are still in the room, and stop carrying the rest of it around.
We email you when your invite is ready.
- On your phone where you already are between cases.
- No patient name field because the record does not need one.
- Under ten seconds for the case you just finished.
- Free to log and the record stays yours after training.

The pile
It's Sunday. You have three weeks of cases in your head and none in the log.
Paste the list you already keep, check the rows Capnolog read out of it, and the pile is a log.
Ten seconds
Most of the case is already known.
Your rotation already knows the site, the attending, the year.
The sheet opens with those filled in, so what you enter is the part only you saw.

Every case you log moves a requirement.
The Progress tab reads off what is met, what is short, and what your pace makes of it.

Then the official form is already filled when you open it.
The extension fills your ACGME Case Log in Chrome or Edge. You check it and press Submit.

The peak
This is what caught up looks like.
Every requirement you have met and every one still short, read off one screen instead of a spreadsheet you rebuild by hand.
We email you when your invite is ready.

What it never holds
You'll forget the name. Capnolog never asked for it.
There is no field for a patient's name, no MRN and no date of birth. The log lives on your phone, and the iCloud backup is yours and optional.

Who built it
I'm an anesthesia resident. I hated logging my cases, so I built the one I wanted.
Every screen on this page is a capture of the app I use for my own log.

Stop carrying it.
Ten seconds a case, and the rest of it stops being your job to remember.
