Add Capnolog to Chrome

Two minutes, once. You need Chrome or Edge on a computer — the ACGME site has no app.

  1. Case appears

Open the ACGME Case Log entry form. The panel names the matching Capnolog case.

  2. Confirm the match

Check it is the right case, then let Capnolog prefill the form from your record.

  3. Review the details

Every field it filled, and every field it stopped on. You press Submit.

  4. Mark it filed

Capnolog records that this case went in, so it is never double-logged.

Anesthesiology today · one case at a time · the extension never submits

Getting it

Capnolog sends you the link from inside the app — there is no button for it here.

  1. 1In Capnolog, open the Log tab and tap the ACGME card. That opens ACGME sync.
  2. 2Tap “Email me the extension link”.
  3. 3Open that email on the computer you file from, and add the extension there.
  4. 4Back on ACGME sync, tap “Generate code” and type the code into the extension.

It needs a Capnolog account. Extensions install on a computer, so the link is worth sending to the machine you actually file on.

Reading this on your phone? Browser extensions only install on a computer. Ask the app to email you the link, then open that email on your laptop — or type capnolog.com/chrome into Chrome there.

Then pair it with your phone

  1. 1

Open the emailed link in Chrome or Edge on your computer and add the extension.

  2. 2

Sign in at apps.acgme.org the way you always do. Capnolog never holds your ACGME password and never signs in for you.

  3. 3

Open the Capnolog panel and type the 8-character code shown on the Log tab of the phone app. That’s it — cases flow on their own from then on.

What does the extension actually do?

It prefills the official ACGME anesthesiology case-log form one case at a time, in a tab you logged into yourself. You press Submit yourself — it never submits for you.
