Recover something you deleted

Deleting is reversible for thirty days. Permanent deletion is deliberately the least reflexive thing in the app.

  1. 1

Cases: Log tab → “Recently deleted”

A deleted case stays for thirty days. Tap a row, or swipe it right, to put it back exactly where it was.

  2. 2

Permanent deletion takes a deliberate gesture

Swiping left is the only way to remove a case for good. There is no long-press shortcut and no full-swipe, and “Empty bin” is its own control in the header — this is the one screen where undo does not exist, so nothing on it should be reachable by accident.

  3. 3

Plans and notes have their own bins

Same thirty-day window, same restore. A deleted plan or note is not gone, it is filed.

  4. 4

If you do not remember deleting it

Settings → Backup & sync → “Recently removed” is a history, not a fourth bin. It spans notes and plans, it outlives the thirty-day window, and it names sync when sync did the removing — so “did the app remove that, or did I?” has an answer instead of a shrug.

A row it cannot decrypt right now says exactly that, and is never drawn as though the content were gone.

  5. 5

    After thirty days

The bin is purged the next time the app starts. If you are clearing out on purpose, export first.

That history screen exists because of a real bug: a locked keychain once published removals for live rows, and nothing in the app would admit a removal had happened.
