Specialty ambassadors
Help shape how your specialty logs cases.
Capnolog is built specialty by specialty, with the residents, fellows, and medical students who live the work. Ambassadors review the case taxonomy, verify the logging workflow, and help prioritize what gets built next — and keep full access to the paid features at no cost while they do.
Applications are read by a person, and answered by one. Applying does not create an ambassador role — it starts a conversation about your specialty.
What ambassadors help with
The work is review, not promotion: making Capnolog right for a specialty, one specific detail at a time.
Review the case taxonomy
Case categories, minimums, and the fields that matter differ by specialty. Ambassadors read our tables against the requirements they actually train under and flag what is off before anyone else has to notice.
Verify the logging workflow
Log real cases — zero-PHI, as always — and tell us where the flow is slow, where a field your specialty needs is missing, and where a default is wrong.
Validate the ACGME Case Log details
Field names, categories, and entry order in the ACGME Case Log vary by specialty. Ambassadors check what we have captured against what they actually see when they log.
Help prioritize
Waitlist volume tells us where interest is. Ambassadors tell us what to build first within a specialty, and what would make it worth mentioning to a co-resident.
What ambassadors receive
Full access, at no cost
Full access to Capnolog's paid features at no cost, with no scheduled expiration — recorded as a named grant on the ambassador's account, with nothing to renew.
A direct line
Ambassador notes go to the people building the specialty, not into a ticket queue. When their specialty moves, they hear it first.
Credit, if wanted
A listing on this page — name, role, photo, short bio — is optional and separately agreed to. An ambassador nobody ever sees is a fine ambassador, and a listing can be removed at any time.
Access is granted for the review work itself. It is never conditioned on a quote, a post, or a rating — and removing a listing, or declining one, never affects access.
The rules the work runs under
The same posture as the rest of Capnolog: the safest data is the data that never changes hands.
Never a password
We never ask for an ACGME or ADS password, session, or code — not in an application, not in a review session, not ever.
Never patient data
Capnolog's case log has no field for a patient identifier, and ambassador work follows the same rule: de-identified examples and public documentation only.
Nothing scripted, nothing recorded
No scripts run against the ACGME site for ambassador work, and review sessions are not recorded. When a live look is useful, the ambassador drives their own browser in a session scheduled together, and it stops before anything identifying appears.
Listing is a set of separate choices
Public listing, photo, exact quotes, and social posts are separate agreements. Any of them can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing never affects access.
Ambassadors speak for themselves
An ambassador is an individual in training, not a spokesperson. Nothing on this page means a program or institution has adopted or reviewed Capnolog.
